Shibuya Crossing, Tokyo, Japan

東京・渋谷スクランブル交差点

Taken on my first trip to Japan in 2006, this photo of Shibuya Crossing in Tokyo was shot from inside JR Shibuya Station.

This is the famous “scramble crossing” that stops vehicles in all directions to allow pedestrians to inundate the entire intersection. The Starbucks store inside the building visible in the center is one of the busiest in the world, and only sells “tall”-sized coffee drinks.

Shot with Nikon D200 and Tokina 12-24mm f/4 AT-X AF Pro DX lens. Edited in Lightroom 5.7.
