Festival Dancers, Okayama, Japan

岡山県・岡山市・「 岡山うらじゃ」

Dancers at the Okayama Uraja Festival in Okayama City, Japan. The festival is held every year on the first weekend in August.

The festival’s main event is a dance parade, in which different groups are competing. Dance participants paint their faces to look like ogres, and each team sports their own unique handmade costumes.

Shot with Nikon D200 and Nikkor 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 lens. Edited in Lightroom 5.7.
