Miyajima Island in Hiroshima Bay, Japan, is home to the iconic Itsukushima Shrine, captured on a very rainy day in this photo.
On my first visit to Miyajima Island in Hiroshima Bay, Japan, I experienced rain that would best be described as “torrential”. Miyajima is home to the famous Itsukushima Shrine with its floating torii gate (seen in the background center of this shot).
Shot with Nikon D200 and Nikkor 18-70mm f/3.5-4.5 lens. Edited in Lightroom 5.7.
