Students and Priest, Kitano Tenmangu, Kyoto, Japan

京都・北野天満宮

Students of different ages are visiting the grounds of Kitano Tenmangū Shrine in Kyoto, Japan.

Kitano Tenmangu is one of Japan’s most important Tenmangu shrines (along with Dazaifu Tenmangu in Fukuoka Prefecture), meaning that it is frequented by students who come here to pray for success in exams.

Shot with Nikon D200 and Nikkor 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 lens. Edited in Lightroom 5.7.
