Bikan District, Kurashiki, Japan

岡山県・倉敷市

Kurashiki is a historic town located west of Okayama, Japan. Its main attraction is the Bikan District, an old merchant quarter dating back to the Edo period.

Amidst wooden warehouses along a canal framed with weeping willows, a variety of different things were going on when I visited that day, including boat tours and a canal-side flea market.

Shot with Nikon D200 and Nikkor 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 lens. Edited in Lightroom 5.7.
