Ninja Temple Entrance, Kanazawa, Japan

石川県・金沢市・妙立寺

Visitors are seen reading an information board outside the side entrance to Myōryūji Temple in Kanazawa, Japan.

Myoryuji is also known as “Ninja Temple”, having earned this nickname because of its many deceptive defenses such as hidden chambers and stairs, completely unexpected and reversible trap-like doors and floors as well as secret tunnels and escape pits.

Shot with Fujifilm X-E2 and Fujinon XF 18-55mm f/2.8-4 lens. Edited in Lightroom 5.7.
