In the morning of today’s bank holiday (Shōwa Day), I took a short walk around the Oharacho area of Itabashi Ward in Tokyo, Japan.

I call this photo set “The calming beauty of the mundane” - it shows some ordinary quiet scenes from a suburban Tokyo residential neighborhood, but to me it feels utterly peaceful and relaxing.
