Spiral Staircase, Helsinki, Finland

フィンランド・ヘルシンキ

Oodi, Helsinki’s magnificent modern library near its Central Station, features an art installation in Finnish language called ‘Omistuskirjoitus’ (Dedication).

Created by artist Otto Karvonen using the library’s spiral staircase as a canvas, the piece features dedications collected through a public campaign in which anyone could suggest who the library should be dedicated to. An English translation of the artwork is available on this page provided by the library.

Shot with iPhone 15 Pro. Edited in Adobe Lightroom Classic.
